Your first visit

Getting ready, step by step

A few minutes before you come in saves time on the day.

1. Book

Book your first appointment

Book online through HotDoc, choosing any doctor, or call reception. Allow 20 to 30 minutes: one of our nurses does a quick check of your observations (such as blood pressure) and history first, then you see your doctor.

2. Register

Register as you book

When you book online through HotDoc, you register as part of booking. There's one short clinical form to fill in at the clinic when you arrive.

Booking by phone?
3. Bring

What to bring

  • Any concession or DVA cards
  • A list of the medicines you take
  • Any recent results or specialist letters
4. Records

Transfer your records

Interpreters and Auslan

If English isn't your first language, we can arrange an interpreter for your appointment. We also arrange Auslan interpreters for patients who are Deaf or hard of hearing, or who have difficulty speaking.

Please let reception know when you book, so we can organise the interpreter and allow a little extra time.
